The HEPCW is one of six HE consortia within the UK and has 9 Full members:

Ø University of Wales, Trinity St. David
Ø Swansea University
Ø Swansea Metropolitan University
Ø University of Glamorgan
Ø Cardiff University
Cardiff Metropolitan University
Ø University of Wales
Ø University of Wales, Newport

There are also three Associate members:

Ø Coleg Gwent

Although the smallest consortium within the HE sector, we have a collective non-pay spending power of £309m per annum, for goods and services. The other UK HE consortia are:

Ø North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC)
Ø North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC)

We have set-up commodity groups to cover a broad range of products/services, each of which can be accessed on the left hand side of this page. Each group consists of at least one procurement professional and representatives from member institutes who are working in that particular area and bring to the group their combined knowledge and expertise.

We also have links with the Welsh Assembly Government through Value Wales, where we are well represented.
